From Passion to Platform
Vulhub began as a personal project by a security researcher who was frustrated with the time-consuming process of setting up vulnerable environments for testing. The manual work of Dockerizing applications and configuring vulnerabilities was a barrier to many aspiring security professionals.
The researcher envisioned a platform that would make security research accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical background. What started as a collection of Docker containers has evolved into a comprehensive web application that removes the friction between researchers and hands-on security testing.
Today, Vulhub serves thousands of security professionals, educators, and students worldwide, providing a safe and efficient way to explore vulnerabilities and enhance their skills.
